Oppo Reno 8 debuted in China in May this year. The handset has been available in three colors. Today, the company confirmed that it will be introducing Reno 8’s purple variant in China. It appears that it will look as attractive as the purple edition of the Reno 6.
The upcoming purple variant of the Reno 8 will be called Iris Purple. It is unclear whether the Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 Pro+ available in China

OPPO Reno 8 specifications
The Reno 8 has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers a full HD / resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) / 2-megapixel (depth) / 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.

The Dimension 1300 chipset powers the Renault 8K. The device is shipped with multiple LPDDR4x RAM + UFS 3.1 storage combinations, such as 8 GB RAM / 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM / 256 GB storage. The device runs on Android 12 OS and ColorOS 12.1.
The Reno 8 has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 80W charging. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The three variants of the Reno 8 are priced at 2,499 Yuan (~ $ 373), 2,699 Yuan (~ $ 403), and 2,999 Yuan ($ $ 448), respectively.
